Paint 'n' Light

I was inspired by yesterdays party, where everything was drawn in light and neon, so 15 minuttes ago I took these colourful pictures. Painting with light:)

Previous projects #1

Today I really feel like sharing some of my previous projects. I've chosen a little photo series I did in 2007. I remember how great it felt just to play around with my dad's camera and a big box of old toys. It's still one of my favourite photo shoots.

Psychedelic visuals

Recently I've been working on a VJ project for a party at Krabbesholm on Saturday. I'm using an overhead projector, oil, colours and water. Here's some photos from the process:)

Triangles everywhere.

Dance Dance Dance

I really liked this poster, which was also a part of the craft project from last week. It's made by my friend Jamila Ochmann-Hussain. Below there is a picture of all the different posters made by the other students.

My roommate, Andrea Pontoppidan, took some wonderful photos of our home at Krabbesholm. Those I really have to share:)

Craft experiments #3

The final assignment this week was to design a 60x40 poster. The idea was to use the various observations we've done through the week and create a poster, that could be put into a fashion context. The poster had to contain text or just some words from a song, so I chose "A Cause Des Garcons" by Yelle, which I think complements my illustration in a favorable way. Below you can see the results.

Right now I'm working on a "Lookbook" that sums up this weeks project. It should be done this weekend, so stay updated! ;)

Craft experiments #2

Next step was to zoom in, zoom in a lot and focus on details. Then we had to combine the styles and create a new shape. Below you see some of the detail-pictures and the final shape, a dress.

Craft experiments #1

This week at Krabbesholm my workmate, Emilie Fafner, and I have been working with fashion silouettes on an abstract level. First we chose a shape to work with, then the challenge was to recreate the shape in craft or be inspired by the shape and experiment with the material. Very exciting process.

The 7 pictures below is the result of tuesdays work.

Welcome!

My name is Liv Elinor and I love beautiful things.

At the moment I study graphic design at Krabbesholm Højskole in Skive, Denmark, and here's something interesting going on all the time. That's pretty much the reason why I got the idea about starting my own blog. I'm brand new to the blog world, but I find the community very interesting. I'm looking forward posting about my recent projects and in general things that inspires me. See you in the future! ;)
